Cornell Estates is a unique retirement and assisted living community, that blends city and country living, and is committed to serving 60+ adults in Portland’s Westside. Our location allows quick access to Highway 26, major shopping centers, doctor offices and state-of-the-art hospital and medical center.

Our range of services reflects this understanding as well as the diverse interests and tastes of our clients.  Both Independent (retirement) and Assisted Living offer apartment-style living with the following amenities:  three delicious meal prepared by our four-star chef, housekeeping services include fresh bed/bath linens, cable TV, all utilities except the phone, plus beauty/barber shop, emergency call sytem, raised gardens, and an indoor aviary.

Our Independent Living features apartment-style units with full kitchens and a variety of floor plans, including one/two bedrooms and studio units with fireplaces or balconies.  Even active and independent seniors may choose to get extra assistance with our Personal Independent Program (PIP).  It provides in-home care services in your apartment on a scheduled basis.

Our 24-hour Health Care staff provide Assisted Living residents personalized, quality care, ensuring their total well-being.  We offer both one bedroom and studio apartments with a private bath.  Our assisted living has an oversight RN who works closely with the Director of Health Services.  Their goal is to create a comfortable, familiar, safe and home-like environment promoting independence and dignity with choices in lifestyle and health care services.

Our caring staff members create a safe and exciting community filled with music, art and educational oportunities.  In addition, ongoing community partnerships with businesses, schools, churches, and non-profits are an integral part of our success in providing enriching choices for our residents.
