Respite Care

Providing care for an aging parent or other loved one is a full-time responsibility for families. When family members need to take time for themselves, Cornell Estates Assisted Living provides short-term ‘round-the-clock care in a fully furnished respite apartment.

Respite stays may range from four to 28 days, and our highly trained staff provides 24-hour care, including medication management and a comprehensive array of personal assistance services.

A Wide Spectrum of Respite Services

The following services are provided at all times, 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

• Medication administration
• Three meals, plus snacks
• Two-hour checks
• Assistance with bathing and dressing
• Incontinence care
• Personal laundry twice a week
• Housekeeping
• Personal escorts to meals
• Personal escorts to all social and recreational activities
• Access to beauty and barber shop services
• Motor coach transportation
• Cable television
