Learn more about the intricacies of Seasonal Affective Disorder as Julie A. Fast presents “Your Brightest Winter Ever! Managing Seasonal Affective Disorder” on Friday, February 25thth at 1:30 pm.
Julie will discuss Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a common mood disorder characterized by repeated depression during the change of seasons, particularly during the shortened, darker winter months. Treatments for SAD range from light therapy to cognitive behavioral therapy to antidepressant medications and supplements.
