PRESENTS: “Dawn of Ancient Melodies”
Cornell residents will be taken to Liberty High school for the Hillsboro Symphony Orchestra’s first performance of it’s 2010 season.
Under the direction of HSO Conductor Sharon Northe including a Symphony showcase featuring Don Gottschalk, principal Trumpet. The orchestra will perform Respighi’s “Ancient Airs and Dances”; “Sprach Zarathustra!”, by Richard Strauss”; “On the Steppes of Central Asia” by A. Borodin; Elliot Del Borgo’s “Adoriginal Rituals”; “Selection from Orff’s, “Carmina Burana;” by Carl Orff; and “Trombone Concertino” by F. David featuring Louie Olenick.
