A new series is starting at Cornell Estates: Gordon Neal Herman’s Multimedia Presentations in American Music History. This series of lectures will incorporate pictures, videos, and recordings of famous musicians and eras of music. To kick off the series we will be looking into the life and career of Bing Crosby.

Bing Crosby was the bestselling musical performer prior to the rise of rock and roll. His career included acting in movies, investing in reel to reel recording, and influence on such singers as Sinatra, Como and others.
