The Alzheimer’s Association: Healthier Living for your Brain and Body Wednesday, March 16th 1:30 pm
For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to optimize our physical and cognitive health as we age. Join the Alzheimer’s Association at Cornell Estates to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement — and how to use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
This is the fourth course in a series of Alzheimer’s education classes at Cornell Estates. A representative from the Alzheimer’s Association will lead the class and be available for questions.
The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please call Cornell Estates at (503) 640-2884 or visit our website at www.cornell-estates.com.
